Came in starving and the pasta alla Norcina gave me new life. Every one of my friends who visited Italy recommended this place and it lived up to its reputation. Low key and quiet, kind service, good wine, a nice retreat from the bustling Vatican.

If you are in Rome nearby the Vatican this is the place to eat. We ended up being pressed for time to eat prior to making a tour, but we were overwhelmed by the service we received. Our server was very understanding, he made sure we had our food quickly with enough time to enjoy it before we had to leave. The house special pasta was affordable and delicious. This was one of our most memorable dining experiences in Italy.

As soon as we arrived we were welcomed with on the house bread which is usually not normal and we where greeted with a friendly guy he was so happy and you could tell he was amazing. The only reason it's not a 5/5 on rooms is because at the time we where not able to sit outside but we did see umbrellas that indicate you probably could.

The food is excellent, Valerio is the best server ever, he took great care of us the 2 times we went. We tried the spaghetti a la carbonara and the branzino, which were both delicious. Definitely try the wine of the house!!!! Prices are reasonable compared to the tourist traps in its surroundings

Five days in Rome and this was undoubtedly the best dinning experience we've had. The quality of the food and service, deserves five stars along with the cheaper prices, compared to some of the other restaurants, which was overcrowded by tourists. Definitely a worth a visit!
